My Outfit Details:

Jacket:  Tommy Hilfiger // Pants:  INC // Shoes:  Enzo Angelino // Top:  Ralph Lauren

This is my first ever blog post!  I’m so intrigued by this world of blogging.  My daughter has been blogging for over 5 years over at Jersey Girl, Texan Heart and she was the one who convinced me to start a blog myself.  I’ve done a few Who Wore It Better posts on her blog.  It’s where we take an item and dress it up the way we would prefer, and to my surprise, these posts are a hit!  These pants I bought for myself and I also bought her a pair for her birthday.  We tend to dress like twins a lot.  It’s happened where, we will meet for a special occasion and will be wearing either the exact same outfit, or something similar.  I’ll be sure to share those pictures on here as well.

Here’s a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me a little better.

As you can see by the title, my fashion will be for women who have aged like a fine wine.  I have been in love with fashion since I can remember.  When I was younger I used to make my own clothes, and I used to make clothes for my daughter.  People used to think she was a baby model with the outfits I would put her in.  Over the years, I have always made sure to always look my best because I love it, and also because I never wanted to “let myself go.”  I married my High School sweetheart, and we have two beautiful children; a daughter and a son.  They are both out on their own, and I couldn’t be any happier or prouder of them.  I am also a dog mom to a 13 year old Maltese.  Cooking is another love of mine, and will be sharing some of my recipes on here when the time comes.

Thank you  so much for visiting my blog, and I can’t wait to get to know some of you, and show you that fashion is for all ages, not just the younger ladies!

Hi, Ewa! Welcome to blogging! I am so excited that you have started your own blog. I have been following Monica’s blog for as long as I have been blogging (about 3.5 years now) and consider her one of my closest blogging buddies (especially now that I have met her in person). I always love her Who Wore It Better posts! These outfits are fantastic and I would absolutely wear either one! I look forward to following your blog and learning more about you!

Hello dear Ewa. I am Ada, a huge fan of your daughter and her blog. I am one of her good blogging friends who has been blogging for just as long, we collaborate a lot together too. So glad that A) you took the plunge to start a blog, since you are so stylish and beautiful and B) I am getting to ‘know’ you through Monica. I have always loved her “Who Wore it Better” posts with you. It is extra special for me since my blog is titled “Elegance and Mommyhood” and I let my 5.5 year old daughter be a part of my blog, a lot. She loves dressing up like mommy and twinning with mommy. You two both look beautiful in those gorgeous olive pants. I love your jacket so much and yes Monica takes after you 100%!

I welcome you to stop by my blog as well. Oh and I run a FASHION LINKUP every Thursday too. =) Have a wonderful blogging journey beautiful mama Ewa!

Have a great weekend! Ada. =)

  9. Hello Ewa, I got busy and didn’t get over to read Monica’s post. And, now, yours, of course! Welcome to blogging! I hope you enjoy yourself, I’m going to echo some of the above comments and say it’s so nice to have another woman ‘of a certain age’ in the community.

    1. Thank you so much! My daughter talked me into it because she kept saying the same thing, that the blogging community doesn’t have too many bloggers who are older, and my motto has always been that fashion is for any age. I want to share that motto with the world so that women don’t think they can’t dress nice because they’re too old. A woman should feel fabulous her entire life!
