This is my first ever blog post!  I’m so intrigued by this world of blogging.  My daughter has been blogging for over 5 years over at Jersey Girl, Texan Heart and she was the one who convinced me to start a blog myself.  I’ve done a few Who Wore It Better posts on her blog.  It’s where we take an item and dress it up the way we would prefer, and to my surprise, these posts are a hit!  These pants I bought for myself and I also bought her a pair for her birthday.  We tend to dress like twins a lot.  It’s happened where, we will meet for a special occasion and will be wearing either the exact same outfit, or something similar.  I’ll be sure to share those pictures on here as well.

Here’s a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me a little better.

As you can see by the title, my fashion will be for women who have aged like a fine wine.  I have been in love with fashion since I can remember.  When I was younger I used to make my own clothes, and I used to make clothes for my daughter.  People used to think she was a baby model with the outfits I would put her in.  Over the years, I have always made sure to always look my best because I love it, and also because I never wanted to “let myself go.”  I married my High School sweetheart, and we have two beautiful children; a daughter and a son.  They are both out on their own, and I couldn’t be any happier or prouder of them.  I am also a dog mom to a 13 year old Maltese.  Cooking is another love of mine, and will be sharing some of my recipes on here when the time comes.
