This is the first week where I am posting more than one post in a week. This is super exciting for me, because I am co-hosting the monthly Your Own Twist Linkup that my daughter and her friend from Shelbee On The Edge host. This month’s theme is to wear a red dress. Now, I do not own any red dresses, but I didn’t want to participate, so I came up with my own little twist. This long red vest from Banana Republic came to mind. I thought it would be the perfect alternative to a red dress, especially if you aren’t comfortable wearing a red dress.
The perfect thing about this vest is it can be dressed up and down. Add a few more accessories and some heels and you are in the dressed up version, whereas here I’m showing you how to dress it down and casually. This is an outfit that I would definitely wear out to go shopping or to go to lunch/coffee. Make sure to join the linkup below and follow along every month. This vest is such a great option in lieu of a red dress. I was just thinking I need my own red vest to “Christmas up” a variety of outfits.
