A week has flown by. My husband and I drove to visit my daughter in Florida, and a week was not enough time with her. I’m so happy to see just how well she is doing in her new home. I think I’m going to have to move to Florida, because it was so great seeing her, but the sadness that followed when we left was too much. We both cried secretly. I only know this because we texted each other about it after my husband and I drove away.
I know that I will see her again, but this was the longest time that we went without seeing one another. My daughter never moved away to college because she commuted, and she lived with us for quite some time before her and her fiance moved into their apartment. There was a short period of time that she moved to Texas, but it was nowhere near the almost 10 months that she’s lived in Florida. It was definitely bittersweet.
Not to mention that we were in 70 degree weather, and when we were driving back to NJ, we were driving into a snow storm and incredibly cold weather haha! Don’t forget to link up with us below!
