Goodbye 2019

2019 has been quite the year.  As my daughter has been saying over the past few weeks, it has been very bittersweet.  Some of the worst things happened this year, but there were also some positives.

I lost both of my parents this year, and they passed away within 2 weeks of each other.  I also lost my 14 year old maltese, Kuba.  All of these deaths really played a toll on me, and made life a little harder.  After my parents passed away, I realized just how short life really is.  Then about a month or two later, my best friend crossed the rainbow bridge.  2019 was a year of mostly loss for me.

However, on a positive note, this year I became an American Citizen, along with visiting my daughter in her new home in Florida.  We have another decade behind us, and I can’t wait for 2020 to see what is has in store for me.
