My daughter and I have decided to show you another Who Wore it Better post.  I love doing these posts with my daughter because it really shows our creativity in creating outfits and it shows how similar/different we are.  My daughter’s style is very different from mine, but at times similar.  While she was growing up, I always dressed her up, and I was stopped by many strangers asking me if she was a baby model.  This could possibly be because I had her in a long pencil skirt while she was still in a stroller haha!

When we first came to this country, we didn’t have a lot.  We had each other, and thankfully a roof over our head.  My husband and I worked extremely hard to have a home.  Then when my daughter was born, instead of buying all of her clothes, I decided to make them.  Back then it was way more less expensive to make your own clothing, as opposed to buying it.  Nowadays you can find a cute top for under $10.  Anyway, I used to dress my daughter up the way that I liked to dress her up.  Then she grew up and went through all of her phases.  I think my least favorite was when she would just wear sweat pants haha.  She swore it was because she had early morning classes at college, but that was definitely my least favorite “fashion” statement.  I like that now she mixes a little of what I like and a little of what she likes.  Somehow, she makes it work every time.

Do you have a daughter that you like to dress up with?

You two are so adorable! You both have impeccable and unique style and it is fun to see you style the same items in your own ways. I am loving your graphic tee with the military style jacket! So cool, my friend!

    1. Thank you! My daughter was trying to take this tee haha!

  3. I enjoy these posts, as your affection for each other really shines through. Also, there’s never a clear winner because you both style your outfits so well. I remember sewing for my girls. I never dressed them like me, but they matched each other.

    1. Thank you so much! I used to love sewing for my daughter.
